THE LAUNCH COURSE

QB Motion's Rob Williams, one of the most respected quarterback mechanics coaches in the game, assembled an elite room for his LAUNCH Calgary clinic: CFL quarterbacks Nathan Rourke and Trevor Harris headlining, a deep bench of coaches, and around fifty quarterbacks on the turf for two days of intensive instruction. He brought us in to turn that weekend into something that could live well beyond it.

The strategy was built around a single focus: the teaching is the product. Every drill, breakdown, and cue had to be captured cleanly enough to stand on its own as a lesson, because a coach watching at home needs to see the hands, the footwork, and the demo as clearly as the quarterbacks standing on the field did. We planned the shoot segment by segment against Rob's practice plan, ran a two-camera setup with one locked on the speaker and one capturing angles and demonstrations, and mic'd the coaching so no teaching moment was lost. Condensing two days of high-level instruction into clean, structured footage came down to preparation, knowing exactly what to capture, when, and how, so every lesson held up on its own.

From that footage we built the QB Motion course: a structured, module-based program that gives coaches and quarterbacks who couldn't make the clinic full access to Rob's system, taught by the same elite coaches who ran the clinic. It's a different kind of project for us, not a campaign, but a piece of sellable IP, and proof that the way we approach production translates to whatever the work needs to become.
